This weekend we had 5 teams in Grand Finals. The Club would like to acknowledge the achievement of all teams for reaching Grand Finals. Playing in a Grand Final is a result of a great season to reach the top 4 and then some grit and determination to get through the knockout stages irrelevant of the result on the day.
Our 1503 team lost 1-0 to Marrickville in extra time and our 1803 team lost 7-1 to Abbotsford.
Grand Final winners this weekend were:
· Our 4503/B team won 4-1 against Abbotsford;
· Our AA04/B team won 2-0 against MrP FC; and
· Our 1303 team won 4-1 against Enfield.
AA04/B player of the year went to Vinnie Camporeale, the Golden Boot with 8 goals went to Matthew Hall and the Fair Play Award went to Mitch Whitehead.
